MTD Graduate Portfolios

Every year we graduate a new wave of industry-ready audio artists, with skills in music creation & production, audio recording, mixing and mastering, live sound, game and film audio and sound design.

Get hands-on, project-based training in audio engineering, music production, game audio, and live sound. Located in Metro Vancouver, the Music Technology programs at Douglas College include a two-year Diploma program with courses covering digital music production, audio recording, music for film, music scoring, studio setup and maintenance, live audio engineering, career development, and music ensembles and a new one-year Advanced Certificate in Applied Audio offering training in game audio, post-production, and advanced mastering.

Competitive Skills

You'll learn from working industry professionals, and will have access to three recording studios and a Mac lab, all featuring current, relevant equipment, as well as a 300-seat performing arts theatre. 

 

Career Advancement

Once you graduate, you'll be ready to start your career in sound engineering, music software, audio engineering and music production, working in industries including film, TV, gaming, advertising and multimedia.
