Sales (Post-Degree Diploma)
Overview
Are you a motivated learner with a degree looking to join a competitive and rewarding field? The Post-Degree Diploma in Sales offers a broad exposure to sales and marketing viewed from technical, creative and management perspectives so that you can succeed in being a top salesperson in Canada.
This Sales Post-Degree Program is customized for your needs, depending on your individual goals:
- It provides concentrated training in sales for individuals who have a background in another field and who wish to start a business or move into a sales position.
- It offers a sales credential to foreign nationals who have a degree and wish to study and/or pursue work experience in Canada.
- It delivers upgraded sales education, skills and current practices to those who have been in the sales field for some time but lack formal or recent training.
Get valuable work experience through the Business Internship program
In the Business Internship Program, you’ll apply the theory and knowledge you’ve learned in class into a real-world business setting. During your unpaid part-time internship, you’ll be assigned tasks and projects that junior management, marketing, business, administrative and/or sales employees complete in the modern workplace.
To be accepted into the internship program, you must contact the Career Centre early in your studies at Douglas College.
Graduate job-ready with the Career Boost program
Designed for post-degree students, the Career Boost program prepares you for part-time paid or volunteer positions that complement your studies. You’ll participate in career-building workshops, one-on-one coaching sessions, career fairs, networking with employers, peer-led leadership meetings and more. Once you graduate, you’ll get the continued support, skills and knowledge you need to find a full-time job in your field.
