Craig has been working professionally for 18 years as a Technical Director and Designer for various Vancouver theatre and dance companies. Notable theatre design credits include Hansel & Gretel (set, UBC Opera Ensemble); Mary Poppins (projections, Arts Club Theatre); Unity 1918, Master Builder, Arms and the Man (lighting, Theatre at UBC); Stuff Happens, Ernestine Shuswap Gets Her Trout, Vimy (set and projections, Firehall Arts Centre); and 7 Stories (set and projections, Capilano University). Craig most recently worked on the Canadian Premiere of Blackout here at Douglas College in Fall of 2016. |

She also enjoyed a long career as an animator for popular children's tv series after receiving her diploma in 3D animation from Vancouver Film School. But she missed the hands-on work of Stage Craft, and returned to her career in theatre a few years ago. |

Links: Christine Dewar completed both her BA and MA Degrees at the University of British Columbia. Her passion for Theatre History was ignited while studying with historian Peter Loeffler. Christine performed in plays and films at UBC and wrote arts reviews for The Ubyssey. She directed Here We Are by Dorothy Parker, and Cubistique by Tom Cone. Christine has had a long association with the award-winning Douglas College literary journal, Event , where she currently works as Fiction Editor and writes fiction reviews. She has also been active with the Amelia Douglas Gallery, curating a range of art exhibits in including: Valerie Romain, Deep Water ; Michael Downs, Mythologies ; Sharalee Regehr, Women of Substance and, most recently, Joe Rosenblatt, Magic Gardens. Her recent public lectures include "Sarah Siddons and Edmund Kean: Two Actors in the Age of Jane Austen." Christine has been teaching at Douglas College since 1987. She believes her mission is to encourage all students to see live theatre, dance, music and art, and to explore history as a rich resource for their own creative work. All of her courses are open to University Transfer students seeking imaginative arts electives.

He has produced, directed or written for television for Sky Atlantic(UK), TF1(France), RTL(Germany), Netflix, Amazon, ABC, NBC, CBS, CBC, Global, The Disney Channel, TNT, Showtime, Nickelodeon, Lifetime and Space. Recent television projects include: Co-Producer, Sweet Magnolias (Netflix); Producer, Take Two (ABC) and Producer Post Production, Britannia (Sky Atlantic); Spotless (Canal+) and Crossing Lines (TF1). Feature film credits include: Girl In Progress (Lionsgate), Far From Home (20thCentury Fox), Bordello of Blood (Universal), Freestyle (20th Century Fox) and Arctic Blue (Columbia/Tristar). He is a Director member of the Director's Guild of Canada and past Chairman of the BC Motion Picture Association. He has served on the Board of the Centre For Image and Sound Research and the Royal City Musical Theatre Society. Publications include: "PostAge, A Handbook of Film and Television Post Production." He has lectured in film and television production and post production at the University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, the National Screen Institute and the Vancouver International Film Festival.

As well, he has worked as Site Manager for the Vancouver Folk Music Festival, and toured with theatre companies throughout British Columbia, USA, & Ireland. Bruce has also worked as a stage technician, lighting board operator and followspot operator in most of the theatres in Vancouver. |

Course taught: STGE 1220 Nicole is a freelance Production Manager, Technical Director, Stage Manager and Lighting Designer. Previously, she was the Production Manager at Chemainus Theatre Festival. She is a member of the Canadian Actors’ Equity Association and favourite stage management credits include touring from Prince George to Nashville, TN with Green Thumb Theatre, playing on Vancouver Island at the Chemainus Theatre Festival, and enduring the prairie winters at the Globe Theatre. She holds a BFA from the University of Victoria, with a double major in Theatre and Writing, and is currently in pursuit of her MBA. |
