Supply chains are the steps needed to get goods to consumers, from extracting raw resources to manufacturing, distribution, retail sales and finally to the end user. A well-functioning supply chain can make or break a business. And for a global company – like Amazon, Toyota or Walmart – these chains can be incredibly complex.
