The Douglas College Research community is a thriving group of faculty, students and community partners who are eager to bring new knowledge to the forefront. Research at the College includes the scholarly work that is undertaken in all faculties, including disciplinary, interdisciplinary, and applied research, the scholarship of teaching and learning, and creative and / or artistic research.
Douglas College Researchers are awarded funding to build capacity and to promote projects. Whether it’s in the classroom or beyond, the College is dedicated to supporting our researchers with resources and opportunities. Through the Research and Innovation Office, internal funding is available for faculty researchers to help with the expenses of conducting and sharing the research knowledge to communities and the public.
For faculty, Research Project Grants are available to help to cover the costs of conducting research. Research Dissemination Grants support communicating your research. For more information on funding opportunities, visit DC Connect.
