Getting to Douglas College

Douglas College has campus facilities in New Westminster and Coquitlam:

  • New Westminster – 700 Royal Avenue and Anvil Office Tower, 11 8th Street, both within a short walk of the New Westminster SkyTrain station
  • Coquitlam – 1250 Pinetree Way, one kilometre north of Coquitlam Centre and a three minute walk from Lafarge Lake-Douglas Skytrain station

The College is easily accessible by public transit. Skytrain is recommended as it’s quick, inexpensive and good for the environment. There are also secure bike facilities on both campuses.

Transit

Looking for the best way to get to College? Hop on transit. It’s fast, better for the environment, and - with your U-Pass BC - it's cheap, too.

If you live in Surrey or North Delta, you can get to the New Westminster Campus in about 15 minutes from King George Station and in about 10 minutes from Scott Road Station.

For detailed transit information, bus schedules and routes, see TransLink’s Trip Planner and enter one of the campus addresses (New Westminster: 700 Royal Avenue; Coquitlam: 1250 Pinetree Way) as the destination.

U-Pass BC

Every Douglas College student registered for three credits or more gets a U-Pass BC each semester. U-Pass BC is a discounted student transit pass that provides unlimited, all-zone access to TransLink bus, SkyTrain and SeaBus services, as well as discounts on the West Coast Express, for a fraction of what the public pays.

For more detailed transit information, schedules and routes, check out TransLink’s Trip Planner and enter one of the campus addresses as the destination.

Car-sharing

There are two car-share services operating near our campuses: Evo and Modo. Visit their websites to locate their vehicles.
