Emergency notification systems

We have a three-part emergency notification system to keep you connected and aware of developments during an emergency situation, whether you’re on or off our campuses:

Douglas College (DC) Alerts

DC Alerts is an emergency communication system that sends alerts to your email and mobile phone in case of an emergency situation on campus.

How to subscribe:

  • Click the Login tab at the top of the screen and log in to your myAccount.
  • Login with your student ID/employee password.
  • Click into your Personal Information link, then click on View and Update Personal Information
  • Under the Phone or Email section click "+Add New", select "Emergency Notification Text" or "Emergency Notification E-mail Address", fill in your preferred contact details and click "Add"

 

Douglas College PA Announcements

A broadcasting system capable of getting into many areas at either the New Westminster or Coquitlam campuses, including classrooms, labs, gymnasium, meeting rooms, office areas, stairwells, hallways, parkades and washrooms.

Douglas College Info Line (1 877 679 0823)

A toll-free information line for students, employees and anyone else in the Douglas community to call for important messages and updates during an emergency.
