First Semester International Students
New international students are automatically registered in at least 9 credits worth of appropriate courses for their first semester. To view your course schedule, log in to your myAccount. > Registration > Registration and Schedule > View Your Schedule.
If you are just starting your studies at Douglas College, your first semester courses will be registered for you. Depending on when you are accepted you can choose your courses with the help of an International Advisor. Once your registration is completed, a hold will be placed on your account to prevent course changes/de-registration. You can check the duration of this hold on your myAccount > Registration > Registration and Schedule > Prepare for Registration > Select a term.
Once the "International Hold" is lifted from your account, you will be able to make changes to your account. However, please speak with an International Student Advising Specialist before making any changes to your schedule.
If you are not registered in at least 9 credits by the last month before your first semester, please contact us.
