Assessment tests for Douglas College students outside of the Lower Mainland
If you are living outside the Vancouver Lower Mainland or outside of the country, good news, our Assessment tests are currently available remotely online (by appointment only). In order to take a remote test, you must have a desktop PC or laptop equipped with a webcam and capable of sharing screens and allowing remote access, as well as stable Internet access. Available dates and times vary, so we recommend contacting us at least one or two weeks in advance, so that a mutually convenient time can be arranged.
To inquire about this option, please email Assessment Services at assessment@douglascollege.ca. Please note that Assessment Services cannot accommodate evening or weekend testing.
Exam invigilation for Douglas College Continuing Education students
We will be offering exam invigilation for students in Douglas College Continuing Education courses starting in October 2023. All of these proctoring sessions will be offered in conjunction with Math assessments, mainly at the Coquitlam campus only, dates for which can be found on the current Assessment schedule (or see external testing dates for non-Douglas students below). Please contact Assessment Services at assessment@douglascollege.ca to book your session date at least a week before you need to write your exam so that you can submit the date with your exam application. CE students are responsible for submitting relevant paperwork and payment of exam fees.
*Please note that effective September 1, 2020 the fee for proctoring/invigilation services will be a flat rate of $75 which will be payable by Visa or Mastercard credit card only, as we will no longer be accepting cash payment.
Exam proctors/invigilators for non-Douglas students
Effective January 2024, we will be offering external exam invigilation one day a week, mainly at the Coquitlam campus only in conjunction with our scheduled math assessments. Because of scheduled session length, tests over 3-1/2 hours or having special requirements (such as extended time or audio) may not be able to be accommodated. Please see the list below for available dates and times for the Summer 2024 semester. Please contact Assessment Services at assessment@douglascollege.ca to book your session at least a week in advance of the deadline set by your sponsoring institution (for example, if their deadline is 2 weeks in advance of the exam date, then you need to contact us 3 weeks in advance so that your exam can be set up in time for you to meet your sponsoring institution deadline). Students are responsible for submitting relevant paperwork and payment of exam fees.
