General College Admission Requirements
Curriculum framework
The student must successfully complete 60 credits of university transfer courses. Program requirements are as follows:
- Core Courses (33 credits)
CRIM 1100, CRIM 2140, CRIM 1150, CRIM 1160, CRIM 2260
CRIM 1120 or CRIM 1170
CRIM 2251 or CRIM 2252
ENGL 1130 (recommended) or one of ENGL 1101, ENGL 1102, ENGL 1106, ENGL 1107, ENGL 1109, ENGL 1112, ENGL 1118, ENGL 1151.
PHIL 1101, PHIL 1102, PHIL 1103, (or PHIL 1152), or PHIL 1201 (choose one)
PSYC 1100
SOCI 1125 - Four (4) Criminology courses (total of 12 credits) of students choice (can be any lower or upper division Criminology course provided pre-requisites are completed).
- Electives (15 credits), including at least six credits of non-Criminology courses. Course options outside the criminology discipline include any university transferable course. The following are suggested as relevant to the Criminology diploma:
