1 For these courses a "C+" overall average is required for graduation with a minimum grade of "C" for each individual course.
2 Students who took ACCT 1235 instead of ACCT 1110 and ACCT 1210 must take another 1000 - 4000 level elective from the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration. 1000-2000 level electives must be university transferable (courses that transfer to one of the 5 Research Universities - SFU, UBCV, UBC-O, UNBC or UVIC) according to the BC Transfer Guide.
3Students that want a broader exposure to business law should take BLAW 1320 and BLAW 3720 instead of BLAW 1005. If the two-course option is taken:
i) For students who take ACCT 1235, rather than, ACCT 1110 and ACCT 1210, BLAW 3720 will satisfy the elective requirement.
ii) For students who take ACCT 1110 and ACCT 1210, BLAW 3720 must be taken in addition to the other required courses. This means that students will take a minimum of twenty-one courses to earn their Accounting PBD.
