Instructional Method | Online and self-paced course in Blackboard Due to the nature of an online delivery, students will be expected to be proficient in computer skills including email, adding attachments, navigating the internet etc. Resources for getting started with Blackboard are available online to become comfortable in the Blackboard environment. |
Instructor | Kelly Antosh is a Dental Hygiene Practitioner in British Columbia. She has completed a Bachelor of Science (1991) from the University of Prince Edward Island, a Dental Hygiene Diploma (1994) from Dalhousie University, a Provincial Instructors Diploma (2011) from Vancouver Community College, and a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (Community Studies focus). She has extensive experience in clinical Dental Hygiene, Education, Administration, Curriculum Development and Oral Public Health in several areas of Africa. She has taught Dental Hygiene Theory and Clinical Practice since 2007. In 2021, she was awarded an Outstanding Alumni Award from the Faculty of Dentistry at Dalhousie University. |

Grading | Participants receive a Recognition of Completion for 8 hours |
