Supervised practicum plus seminar/webinar.

Course description
This is a supervised practicum and seminar which provides students with direct experience in assessing needs and planning, implementing and evaluating PSR interventions and approaches.

Learning outcomes

Students will acquire supervised practical experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating PSR interventions and approaches.

Means of assessment

Evaluation will be carried out in accordance with Douglas College policy.  Evaluation will be based on the course objectives.  The instructor will provide a written course outline with specific evaluation criteria at the beginning of the semester.  An example of one evaluation scheme is as follows:

Supervised field experience in PSR                    70%

Seminar discussion of experiences

and issues and capstone paper                           30%
